His majesty, the Katamari Prince!!

This is the main character of the Ps2 videogame Katamari, a really funny and addictive game, with a really cool music! If you haven't yet, you have to play it!

April showers

April's A month of softies theme was April showers, and I decided to create a cute animal with a raincoat and an umbrella...so finally I chose a bunny, and here it is. His name is Garabuni and he loves having a walk when it's raining.





I used white, yellow and black yarn in his body and his raincoat is in yellow felt. As you can see, his umbrella is a cocktail's umbrella ( I thought it was imposible for me to make a felted umbrella ^^U).





El tema de abril de A month of softies era "April showers...", que creo que continúa "brings May flowers", lo que en español sería algo así como "Marzo ventoso y abril lluvioso, sacan a mayo florido y hermoso" jeje bueno, que pensé en hacer un animalito con su impermeable y su paraguas...y finalmente me decicí por hacer un conejito, y aquí está. Se llama Garabuni, y le encanta dar largos paseos cuando llueve.




He usado lana blanca, amarilla y negra para hacer su cuerpo, y el impermeable es de fieltro. Como puedes ver, su paraguas es uno de esos de cocktail ( me pareció imposible para mí hacer un paraguas de fieltro ^^U).

Hi! This is Obake, a japanese ghost I made it as a present for Zone's birthday.
I used his drawing as inspiration, as I always do:

We are a team! Generally I have an idea, and I tell him: hey, make me a cute drawing, and he make JUST what I want!

Hola! Este es Obake, un fantasmita japonés que he hecho para regalar a Zone por su cumpleaños. He usado un dibujo suyo para inspirarme, como hago siempre.

Somos un equipo! Normalmente tengo una idea, y le digo, oyeee, hazme un dibujitooo, y el me dibuja EXACTAMENTE lo que yo veía en mi mente!

I love youkais, the spirits and ghosts in the japanese folklore. I love obakes, kappas, tengus...all of them! Maybe I'll continue making other youkais, cause I love them SO much! ^^

Me encantan los youkais, los espíritus y fantasmas del folklore japonés. Adoro los obakes, los kappas, los tengus...la verdad es que todos! Quizá continúe haciendo otros youkais, porque me gustan TANTO! ^^

Its body and its hands are made in white yarn; its eye, cheeks and tongue are made in felt. Its bandana it's felted too.

The lantern was a bit difficult to me, in fact ^^U It's made in red yarn, with little details in black felt.

El cuerpo y las manos están hechos en lana; el ojo, las mejillas y la lengua en fieltro. La bandana también es de fieltro blanco.

La linterna me costó bastante, la verdad ^^U Está hecha en lana roja, con detalles de fieltro negro.
