A room of one's own

This is the theme Loobylu chose for march in "A month of softies" . My mom is making a quilt for my room, so I used her materials to create my mini-quilt. The pillow and the mattress are knitted in white yarn.

As you can see, Pigletina loves art: she has a Munch, two Kitanos, and even a Magritte. She needs a guardian dog to protect it, but that dog isn't just a dog...it's an animagus! Yes! He's Sirius Black! O.O

Este es el tema que Loobylu ha elegido para marzo en "A month of softies". Mi madre me está haciendo una colcha para mi habitación, así que he usado sus telas para hacer mi "mini-colcha", es una reproducción en miniatura. La almohada y el colchón están hechos en punto en lana blanca.

Como puedes ver, a Pigletina le encanta el arte: tiene un Munch, dos Kitanos, e incluso un Magritte. Necesita un perro guardián para protegerlos, pero éste no es un perro cualquiera...es un animago! Sí! Es Sirius Black! O.O

Kaonashi

This is Kaonashi, the "Spirited Away" no-face monster. I think it's a character with lot of mystery, and very special (and easy to be knitted hehe) so that's why I chose it.
His body is made in black wool, and the face is made with black, white and purple felt.
I like the expression of his face; that was something important for me when I planned to create it. I hope all the St. Ghibli fans like him ^^

Este es Kaonashi, el monstruo sin cara de "El viaje de Chihiro". Creo que es un personaje con mucho misterio, y muy especial ( y fácil de hacer en punto! jeje) así que por eso me decidí a hacerle. Su cuerpo está hecho en lana negra, y para la cara utilicé fieltro negro, blanco y violeta.
Me gusta la expresión que le dí a su cara; era algo que me parecía importante que saliera bien cuando me planteé el hacerle. Espero que a todos los fans de Studio Ghibli les guste ^^
