Penguin

This is my first ordered job! A friend wanted a penguin to make a present, so I offered myself to "try" to do it. It the biggest toy I've made (just 25 cm. height ^^U). I have used black and orange wool and white, black and pink felt. And I have to say that I'm very proud of the results! ^O^

Este es mi primer trabajo de encargo! Un amigo quería un pingüino para hacer un regalo, así que me ofrecí a "intentar" hacérselo. De momento es el muñeco más grande que he hecho (sólo unos 25 cm. de altura de hecho ^^U). He usado lana negra y naranja y fieltro blanco, negro y rosa. Y tengo que decir que estoy muy orgullosa del resultado! ^o^

I have my own labels too ^^! I know maybe it's a silly thing, but It make me happy!

Ya tengo mis propias etiquetas también^^! Sé que quizás sea una tontería, pero me hace ilusión!

Knitting Olympics

Hi! I've just joined the Knitting Olympics!
Concept: You must cast on a project during the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics (Feb 10)- and finish before the Olympic flame goes out (Feb 26). That's 16 days.

The proyect I've chosen is to knit a softie Totoro! ( 'cause I love Studio Ghibli ^O^!!! )
So if you knit and you want a challenge, just join the Olympics!


Hola! ¡Acabo de unirme a las Olimpiadas de hacer punto!
El concepto es: tienes que empezar un proyecto durante la Ceremonia de Apertura de las olimpiadas de invierno (el 10 de Febrero) y acabarlo antes de que la antorcha olímpica se apague, lo que ocurrirá el 26 de Febrero, así que tienes 16 días.

El proyecto que he elegido es hacer en punto un peluche de Totoro! (porque adoro Studio Ghibli ^O^!!!). Así que si haces punto y quieres un reto: ¡ apúntate a las Olimpiadas!

Month of Softies

Do you know flickr.com? It's a photographers community where you upload your photos, and it's easy to meet new people; all the people I met there are so kind! If you love photography you should join flickr, really. There are lots of groups, and the last one I have joined is called Month of Softies. The administrator is Loobylu and she had a great idea: every month there's a theme (for example," fairy tales ", which was january theme) and you have to create a softie inspired by that theme.
This is one of the three little pigs, the softie I made for fairy tales theme:

Conoces flickr.com? Es una comunidad de fotógrafos, donde tú subes tus fotos y es fácil conocer gente nueva; toda la gente que he conocido allí es tan maja! Si te gusta la fotografía deberías unirte a flickr, de verdad. Hay muchos grupos, y el último al que me he unido es Month of softies. La administradora es Loobylu, y ella tuvo la gran idea: cada mes es un tema (por ejemplo, "cuentos de hadas", que fue el tema de enero) y tienes que crear un softie, un peluche, un muñequito achuchable digamos -no sé muy bien cómo traducir softie- inspirado en ese tema.
Ése es uno de los tres cerditos que hice para el tema de cuentos de hadas.

Vlad the impaler

Drácula is maybe the book I have read more times; I love the way it is written (as diaries), and all its characters.
I love Francis Ford Coppola's film cause he chose Gary Oldman to interpret Dracula, and Gary is one of my favourite actors (still alive) , with Alan Rickman and Kenneth Branagh. (yes, the british are the best ^O^ !).

Drácula es quizás el libro que más veces he leído; me encanta la forma en que está escrito (como si fuera un diario) y todos sus personajes. Me encanta la película de F.F.Coppola porque eligió a Gary Oldman para interpretar a Drácula, y Gary es uno de mis actores favoritos (que estén todavía vivos), junto con Alan Rickman y Kenneth Branagh (sí, los británicos son los mejores ^O^!).

Konoha mobile cozy

This was one of my first designs, a blue mobile cozy with the symbol of Konoha. I made it for a friend who loves this colour and she's a big fan of the Naruto manga, like me.

Esta es uno de mis primeros diseños, una bolsa azul para el móvil, con el símbolo de Konoha bordado. Lo hice para una amiga que le encanta este color y que es una seguidora del manga Naruto, igual que yo.

Pikachu and Domo-kun

My nephew loves Pokemon so I made this Pikachu for his birthday, the 6th of January.
Domo-kun I made it for myself, 'cause I love him! ^^

A mi sobrino le encantan los Pokemon, así que le hice este Pikachu para su cumple, que es el día 6 de Enero. A Domo-kun le hice para mí, porque me encanta! ^^

Welcome to Freak-Knit

Freak Knit is going to be the place where I'll show you my knitting proyects, so all knitters and handmade toys' fans are welcome here ^^.
I hope you like my designs and I'll be happy if any of them inspires you; the same way, I'll love to see your creations to improve myself, 'cause I'm still a newbie in knitting .
